After School Programs & Weekend Surf Club

• SEA’s “Future Legends Surf Club” helps young surfers develop a lifelong relationship with the ocean and teaches them confidence, independence, critical thinking and emotional regulation through surfing.

• Members of the Future Legends Surf Club gain a wealth of knowledge regarding essential safety, form and technique, common mistakes and correction cues, and take a deep dive into surf history, etiquette and culture.

• Our Future Legends Surf club is broken down into \”Surf Squads\”, where surfers are grouped by age and ability and each static group will surf together for the designated time under the guidance of their Surf Coach, who will help them set goals, track progress and improve.

• At SEA we use our custom curriculum and teaching methodology to help young surfers to be the best they can be as they graduate from rank to rank on the SEA Surfing Development Pathway.

Reserve your spaces for just $299/month/session

*There is a minimum 2 month commitment required and sessions meet at the same day and time each week. Sessions are purchased and paid for two months at a time.

* A city surcharge of 16% is added to the base price

Ages 5-7

With a strong focus on developing safe habits and an ultimate emphasis on fun and enjoyment, this is the age your little grom will learn to love the ocean, it’s many creatures, and of course surfing!

Ages 8-11

Safety and stoke are the name of the game as your young surfers hone their foundational skills, learn the rules of the water, and learn more about themselves as they make decisions in the ocean.

Ages 12-16

Young surfers at this age are growing and maturing at a rapid pace and the world around them is constantly changing as they find their place in it. Confidence in the ocean translates into daily life and our younger surfers use surfing as a tool to practice emotional regulation, problem solving and critical thinking.

Intermediate and Up Program: Ages 7-16

Surfers at this stage begin to hone their skills as their strength and confidence increases, which can lead to an explosion in talent and prowess in the water. This is a good time to create new goals, update our training programs and to start adding in some simple exercises and drills to build stamina and proper muscle memory for an expanding set of surfing maneuvers.

Please Read the following Terms for ALL Surf Squad Programs:

• Minimum Participants: Each Surf Squad needs a minimum of 3 Surfers to run; if there are not currently 3 Surfers enrolled for a particular Surf Squad then you will be added to a wait list and we will provide alternative options for surfing with us until we have 3 surfers for your desired Surf Squad.

• Cancellations: Due to limited capacity and high demand we are not able to issue any refunds or credit for any cancellations (not made by SEA), changes in plans, or missed classes.

• Rescheduling: SEA reserves the right to reschedule sessions at our discretion to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The only way a session will not take place as regularly scheduled is if a SEA staff member cancels and reschedules a session.

• What if it rains? If it rains more than 1/2” in a 24 hour period SEA will likely reschedule sessions, however, if the rain is light then all sessions will take place as scheduled. Plan on all sessions taking place unless they are canceled and rescheduled by SEA staff.

• Missed Classes and Make Up Sessions: will be offered at the end of each season for those who could not attend a class due to a cancellation by SEA. Only students who had classes canceled by SEA will be eligible for attending a Make Up Sessions; other reasons for missing classes will not be eligible for Make Up Sessions. No other form of credit or refunds will be issued for missed classes.
