Clayton Claiborn is a regular-footed taco fiend who frequently finds himself culturally immersed (deep in the tube) south of the Border. However, in between tacos and tubes he has a stacked schedule as the man behind the curtain for the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Aquatics Programs, including swimming, scuba, and our beloved surfing. This prestigious University is not only infamous for being the number one college in the United States for surfers to attend, conveniently nestled above pristine Blacks Beach, but is also world-renowned for their work in oceanography and marine science.

Needless to say, running the surfing and aquatics programs for UCSD is no minor accomplishment and Mr. Claiborn has risen to the challenge with bells on. Thanks to Clayton, each trimester students from around the globe get safely introduced to the sport and lifestyle of surfing. If you see Clayton around, buy him a taco because he is a cool dude.
